All seam allowances are 1/4".

Templates for C/D/H:

To print the template pattern at the correct size, right click your mouse on the image immediately below. Choose, Save Image As, then save the file to your computer.  Print the image at actual size, be sure to turn off any Scale to Print features.  Depending on your printer settings, you may have to adjust the size of the document.  Adjust size so that the 1" square on the image prints at a true 1" square.  Shrink or enlarge until it reaches this size.

Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of the white 2 7/8" squares.

Pair right sides together with a 2 7/8" grey square.

Sew 1/4" from both sides of drawn line.  When piecing multiple half square triangle units, it is helpful to chain the pieces together.  This eliminates having to start and stop on each square.

The chain can then be lined up on your cutting mat.  Align the edge of the ruler on the drawn line.  You can then easily cut the squares in half diagonally.

Repeat to make a total of 4 half square triangles.

Cut the remaining four dark grey half square triangles in half diagonally.

Cut the two purple 4 7/8" squares in half diagonally.

Arrange units as shown below:

Sew the dark grey triangles to adjacent sides of the half square triangle unit.  Press towards dark grey triangles.

Sew the wisteria triangle to this unit.

Press towards wisteria triangle.  Unit should measure 4 1/2" x 4 1/2".

Cut the peapod and sprout 2 1/4" x 3" rectangles in half diagonally as shown.  If using fabric with a definite right and wrong side, it is important to cut 2 triangles in one direction and two triangles in the opposite direction for each color.  This will create mirror images of the triangles.

Trim the peapod and sprout triangles (C and D) and the dark grey triangles (H) using template for accuracy.

Arrange the peapod and sprout triangles, the white 1 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangles and the grey triangles as shown.

Sew peapod and sprout triangles to side of the dark grey triangles.

Sew peapod and sprout triangles to adjacent side of dark grey triangle.

Trim triangle units to 2" x 4 1/2".  Join units to sides of the 1 1/2" x 4 1/2" white rectangle.

Unit should measure 4 1/2" x 4 1/2".  Make four units.

Arrange units as shown below.

Sew units into rows.

Sew rows together.  Block should measure 12 1/2" x 12 1/2".
